Thomson Reuters provides professionals with the intelligence, technology and human expertise they need to find trusted answers.

To celebrate 150 years of the company’s operations in the MENA region, we were asked to create a piece of digital signage to the follow brief:

  • Design a striking ticker advertisement for use in the DIFC
  • Ensure a high-quality video with a total width of 96 metres
  • Adhere to the 15 second loop

Although 2 separate horizontal panels were available to us, we decided to display the same message on both as felt this would have the most impact in Dubai’s busy financial district. We were given just 48 hours from initial design concept to supply of final files. We worked hard to meet the deadline and ensure the video was ready in time for the arrival of guests and speakers at the 150 Years events.

Making a statement

As we were working on such a large scale, we needed to avoid excessive compression of the video in order to produce an eye-catching LED display, which successfully promoted the brand through its use of the Thomson Reuters orange. This was just one of several projects we worked on for the 150 Years anniversary celebrations, with others including landing page design/development and banner creation.
