Sage People (formerly Fairsail) approached Xigen to help them re-design and develop their corporate website in order to create a better experience for their mobile users and also align their brand identity across a plethora of pages.

We were entrusted to align the pages in order to form an engaging customer journey, testing the site as we went in order to ensure it was completed to the highest possible standard.

  • Update the page designs, site wide, in order to form a consistent tone and brand
  • Improve the mobile and tablet experiences
  • Perform a full QA check of the site - identifying, documenting and correcting issues
  • Improvements to hosting setup in order to decrease page load times

Visit website

The Sage People site has been developed over a number of years, adding new page template designs for each new type of page. This formed a disjointed user journey and a terrible mobile experience.

The pages on the site took a long time to load, due to both coding issues and server setup. Parts of the pages were hard-coded, meaning that the client was not in full control of their own site.

Improved mobile experience

Xigen performed a full re-design of key elements and pages in order to form a joined-up customer journey allowing users to have a better understanding of Sage People’s proposition. The mobile experience was greatly improved in order to alleviate the higher than average bounce rate for this type of user and drive a greater engagement for this key user segment.

Full redesign

Following recommendations, Xigen performed a number of updates to the Sage People pages in order to help improve their SEO and drive further users to the site. Xigen helped support the delivery of a number of campaigns and key landing pages working as part of Sage People’s team to help feed into an improved nurture campaign.

Succesful migration

Following the successful sale to Sage, Xigen has helped migrate the site across to its new branding and hope to continue working with the new team in the future.
